“I didn’t know that Traveller women were off limits…”

Galway Traveller Movement presents the world premiere of Night Shift, a new play by Rosaleen McDonagh.

Noreen is a Traveller. Piotr is not. They are in a relationship which Noreen feels must be kept secret from the rest of the world, which causes tension between her and Piotr. Together they are navigating the societal expectations surrounding their relationship and have some tough decisions to make along the way.

Directed by Thomas Connors, this contemporary drama is sure to tug at your heartstrings as you follow the two main characters on their journey throughout the play.

Starring Christine Collins, Thomas Connors, and Mary McDonagh.
Producer: Kate McBrearty
Lighting Design: Cornelius Dwyer
Funded by Creative Ireland as part of the Cultural Action, Cultural Rights: A Foundation for Traveller Wellbeing project.
